OPEN ENROLLMENT begins for Kid's World Afterschool Care on May 1, 2013. All those interested in having their child attend afterschool care for the 2013-14 school year need to complete the registration paperwork and return it to the Kid's World address at 2710 N. Woods Lane, Rogers, Arkansas, 72756. The paperwork is found on the Rogers School District website under Support services/Afterschool care. We are opening two new facilities this year. Janie Darr Elementary and Jones Elementary will have afterschool care for the 2013-14 year. Availability is limited, so please submit registrations quickly to reserve a spot for your child. The registration fee is $10 per child once a year. Tuition is $35 a week per child. If you have questions, please contact the Kid's World office at 479-631-3696.

Looking ahead? The calendars for the 2013-14 school year are available online. The first day of school on the traditional calendar will be Aug. 19 and on the continuous learning calendar at Eastside on Aug. 5.

Welcome to Rogers! New student enrollment for elementary students in grades 1-5 begins April 22 (or April 29 at Eastside). Kindergarten registration is ongoing at their boundary school. Students in grades 6-12 who will be new to the district may register Aug. 6-7 from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Enrollment forms and information on documents needed are available online if you would like to fill them out in advance. Also, visit our Newcomer web page - a great source of information for families new to the district.

Camp Invention is returning to Rogers this summer! Camp Invention is for rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in the Rogers Public Schools. Camp will be held at Bonnie Grimes Elementary the week of June 17-21. School Store

The School Store is now open on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:15 - 7:40 am. Students may purchase pencils, erasers, sharpeners, etc. for minimal prices. Westside spirit items (water bottles, bags, car magnets) will also be available.
